He enlisted soon after and served nine months as a Fifer in Captain Yeate's Connecticut Company and was discharged in the spring of 1778. He was allowed pension on his application executed September 11, 1832, while a resident of Tully, Onondaga County, New York. He was born in Stratford, Fairfield Co., Conn. in 1759, and while living there enlisted early in May 1775. |
